STEM Metaverse Hub is a digital education innovation developed using the FrameVR platform as a one-stop STEM learning centre for primary school students, addressing the challenges of scattered STEM learning resources, limited interactivity, and low student engagement. This innovation aims to provide an accessible, interactive, and enjoyable learning ecosystem while enhancing students’ interest, active participation, self-directed learning, and 21st-century skills such as critical thinking, creativity, communication, collaboration, and digital literacy. Through a 3D virtual environment, students use digital avatars to explore various learning spaces that bring together digital notes, educational videos, virtual experiments, innovation projects, interactive quizzes, educational games, STEM career galleries, and reference materials on a single platform accessible anytime and anywhere. This approach creates a more active, collaborative, student-centred, and enjoyable learning experience. The pilot implementation showed an increase in students’ awareness of STEM careers from 40% to 90%, while 95% of students found the platform interesting and 93% expressed interest in using it again. Overall, STEM Metaverse Hub has the potential to become an innovative, inclusive, and sustainable digital STEM learning model, aligned with the aspirations of national STEM education, digital transformation, and the needs of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
