Green Palette is an innovative eco-friendly art project designed to explore natural colouring materials as alternatives to conventional ink products. This innovation addresses concerns about the consumption of synthetic art materials and the need to encourage sustainable artistic practices among young learners.The project focuses on developing a natural inkpad using plant-based colouring materials. By exploring pigments obtained from natural sources, pupils investigate how everyday materials can be transformed into useful creative resources. The resulting inkpad concept encourages artistic expression through stamping, pattern-making and decorative activities.Green Palette integrates Science, Visual Arts and environmental education through hands-on learning. Pupils develop creativity, observation, experimentation and problem-solving skills while understanding the importance of responsible resource consumption.This innovation supports SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production and SDG 4: Quality Education by encouraging sustainable material exploration and creative learning.In conclusion, Green Palette demonstrates how natural materials can inspire artistic innovation while helping young learners develop environmental awareness and responsible consumption habits.
