The increasing amount of industrial and household waste, such as sawdust, used paper, and used cooking oil, poses a significant environmental challenge. This project aims to transform these waste materials into eco friendly fuel briquettes using a custom designed mechanical lever press. Four formulations were prepared using a fixed sawdust to paper pulp ratio of 60:40, with varying amounts of used cooking oil. The briquettes were evaluated based on burning duration and physical strength. Results showed that the formulation containing 30% used cooking oil demonstrated promising performance. This innovation promotes waste reduction, energy recovery, and environmental sustainability.
