Limited hands-on exposure to computer hardware can affect students’ understanding of hardware concepts. The Smart Compo Kit was developed as an interactive learning tool using component recognition technology to help users identify and understand computer components, including the CPU, RAM, GPU, and motherboard. Its effectiveness was evaluated through a questionnaire involving 400 Vocational College students. Results showed that 94.75% of respondents agreed or strongly agreed that the kit improved component identification and hardware understanding. Users also reported increased knowledge and learning interest. Suggested improvements include enhancing portability, reducing size, and introducing cooling system components. Overall, the kit supports engaging and effective hardware education.
