This project focuses on making paper from coconut fibre as an environmentally friendly alternative to normal paper. The main materials used are coconut fibre, water, and wood ash. The coconut fibre is first soaked in water to make it softer. Then, it is blended with water to form a mixture. Wood ash is added to help make the paper lighter in colour. The mixture is then spread evenly and left to dry. This project shows that coconut fibre, which is often treated as waste, can be reused to make useful paper. The paper can be used for simple crafts and other purposes. This project also helps reduce waste and encourages the use of natural materials.
