Abstract

Improper disposal of used cooking oil can contribute to environmental pollution, particularly water pollution. To address this issue, our team has developed an innovative product using shortening to solidify used cooking oil, making it easier to handle and dispose of responsibly. This product aims to provide a practical solution to improper cooking oil disposal while promoting better waste management practices. In addition, this innovation aims to raise public awareness of environmental protection and encourage Malaysians to take responsibility for keeping the environment clean. Ultimately, this project hopes to contribute to a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable Malaysia.
