PR565: YAN 2D2: Psychosocial Support Across All Professions
MOHD NABIHAN ADLI HOSPITAL LABUAN
Natural and human-made disasters are affecting mental health victims. Most mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) staff are doing their best to help victims manage acute stress, develop positive coping strategies, and receive moral support. The issue is that victims face stigmatization regarding mental health, and MHPSS staff face a shortage of manpower to help the victims. That is why Yan 2D2 was created. This model is a Pictoblox software programmed using if-else with the extension of detection to create progressive muscle relaxation, EFT Tapping, smiling, and focusing in order to gain victim mindfulness instead of mindlessness. Yan 2D2 is user-friendly and can be used by anyone, including the Civil Defence Force and fire and rescue teams. Thus, the study was conducted by the Civil Defence Force Labuan, which showed an acceptance mean score of 4.28 for the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). Thus, frontliners can use Yan 2D2 to help victims with acute stress, reduce stigma, and help MHPSS staff in terms of workload. Furthermore, it can be used in disaster zones, exhibitions, and clinical settings. It is safe in terms of cybersecurity, zero-cost, and can be applied to any gadget. Thus, Yan 2D2 is a powerful tool to manage a critical component of Malaysia's national security.
