Floods are among the most common natural disasters and can cause significant damage to property, infrastructure, and human life. An early warning system can help reduce these risks by alerting people when water levels begin to rise. This project presents a simple and cost-effective flood warning system that uses an electrical circuit and the electrical conductivity of water to detect rising water levels. When water reaches the sensor contacts, it allows current to flow through the circuit, activating a warning device such as a buzzer or indicator. The system demonstrates how basic electrical components can be used to provide an early alert in a potential flooding situation. Its simple design makes it suitable for educational demonstrations and as a starting point for developing low-cost flood detection solutions. However, practical use would require careful testing, reliable power, weather-resistant construction, and regular maintenance. The project highlights the value of accessible technology in improving flood awareness and supporting timely precautions.
