This study presents a socio-economic overview of the Cost of Living and its direct implications on daily human life, household stability, and individual well-being. Defining the cost of living as the monetary threshold required to secure fundamental needs such as housing, nutrition, healthcare, transport, clothing, and education, the research highlights how inflationary pressure erodes consumer purchasing power and reduces overall standard of living. Through a comparative analysis of urban and rural dynamics, the study illustrates how location dictates living conditions, wage adequacy, and price structures. Furthermore, the practical application of a Digital Eco-Map and price-monitoring digital tools such as PriceCatcher is demonstrated to emphasize the importance of strategic household budgeting and social awareness in managing financial strain within modern communities.
