Traditional computer hardware learning can make it difficult for Information Technology students at Kolej Vokasional Tengku Ampuan Afzan (KVTAA) to identify components independently. The AI Vision Detector was developed as an affordable, standalone smart glasses system to improve interactive learning. Using a Raspberry Pi Zero 2W, webcam, OLED display, and speaker, it identifies computer components and provides names and audio descriptions in real time without smartphone connectivity. An impact study involving 52 SVM and DVM IT students indicated improved hardware understanding and reduced dependence on lecturers. Future improvements include portable battery integration, voice commands, and an expanded component database.
