This project aims to develop a Single Phase Electrical Wiring Testing Kit as a practical teaching aid to enhance students learning experiences in residential and industrial electrical wiring systems. The training board is designed to simulate common electrical wiring faults, such as short circuits and reversed connections, allowing students to gain hands on experience in electrical fault detection and troubleshooting. The kit provides a more controlled learning environment where students can identify, analyse, and rectify wiring faults while developing a better understanding of electrical wiring principles and safety procedures. It incorporates actual electrical components, including switches, indicator lamps, miniature circuit breakers (MCBs), socket outlets, and wiring cables that comply with the required specifications. In addition, the kit helps students develop their problem solving and analytical skills, as well as their competency in using electrical testing instruments such as multimeters. By integrating practical training with electrical safety awareness, this project is expected to improve students' technical knowledge, practical skills, and confidence in performing electrical wiring testing and fault diagnosis. Overall, the Single Phase Electrical Wiring Testing Kit serves as an effective educational tool for supporting practical teaching and learning in electrical installation courses.
