When converting discrete probability distributions to continuous ones, boundary selection, either adding or subtracting 0.5, remains the most common error among learners in statistics education. Learners who make mistakes relating to multi-step algebraic translations often rely on memorized rules rather than visual logic. To address this primary pedagogical obstacle, the Tick-Cross CC introduces an innovative graphical visualizer that featuring a structural template integrated with a simple number line. Using ticks for valid integer outcomes and crosses for invalid ones, learners place the adjacent boundary tick and outer boundary cross into the template boxes to calculate their exact midpoint. This single calculation instantly establishes the continuous boundary and directional inequality interval without requiring complex algebraic formulas. A preliminary user-experience evaluation was conducted through semi-structured interviews with three students. All students found Tick-Cross CC intuitive, useful and effective at clarifying continuity correction procedures. Feedback highlighted opportunities for progressive hints, clearer instructions for long intervals and flexible platform delivery. Overall, by replacing mechanical rule memorization with direct visualizer, the Tick-Cross CC significantly improves conceptual understanding and effectively eliminates uncertainty in choosing the correct arithmetic operation for continuity correction factor.
