Smart Clothesline is an innovative smart clothesline system developed to overcome time constraints and unpredictable weather conditions. The objective of this innovation is to develop an automatic clothesline system that detects weather changes, protects clothes from rain, and simplifies the drying process without manual handling. The system integrates a rain sensor, an LDR light sensor, an automatic clothesline, an automatic roof, and a solar panel. When rain is detected or the surroundings become dark, the clothesline retracts into a sheltered area, and the roof closes automatically. This innovation saves time and energy, reduces electricity consumption, and assists elderly people, individuals with disabilities, and busy users.
