Personal safety remains a critical global concern, necessitating rapid, reliable, and automated emergency response systems. Embracelett presents the development of a crowdsourced mobile application prototype engineered to combat sexual assault through real-time emergency alerting and community-driven data mapping. Built using the Flutter framework for cross-platform efficiency and integrated with Firebase for cloud data management, the system connects users with their designated guardians and the wider community. The hardware prototype features a physical push button for discreet panic activation, a pulse sensor to detect sudden physiological spikes associated with distress, and a buzzer to deter attackers locally. Upon triggering, the application instantly transmits the victim's precise GPS coordinates via push notifications to pre-configured guardians. Furthermore, the platform utilizes a crowdsourcing mechanism that allows users to log incidents, dynamically generating a public hotspot map of high-risk zones. Testing of the prototype demonstrates successful hardware-to-software synchronization, low-latency alert delivery, and accurate geospatial rendering, offering a scalable, proactive tool for personal safety and community vigilance.
