SafeFace+: AI-Powered Intelligent Security and Multi-Camera Face Recognition Platform

SafeFace+ is an innovative artificial intelligence-powered security platform designed to transform conventional surveillance systems into intelligent, real-time monitoring solutions.

Traditional surveillance systems depend heavily on human operators, making continuous monitoring across multiple cameras difficult and increasing the risk of delayed responses and missed security events.

To address these challenges, SafeFace+ integrates advanced computer vision, deep learning, and intelligent automation. The platform uses ArcFace/InsightFace for facial feature extraction, an open-set classification approach to distinguish known, uncertain, and unknown individuals, and YOLOv11 with DeepSORT for multi-camera tracking.

Key capabilities include real-time facial recognition, intelligent identity stabilization, automated security alerts through Telegram and email, person profiles, movement timelines, analytics dashboards, and PDF/Excel reporting.

A distinctive feature of SafeFace+ is Third Eye, an AI-powered voice assistant supporting Kurdish and English, enabling users to interact with the security platform through natural-language commands.

The system is developed using Python, FastAPI, MySQL, ONNX Runtime, OpenCV, and modern web technologies. It incorporates role-based access control, authentication, audit logging, and biometric data protection.

SafeFace+ aims to improve surveillance efficiency, reduce identification errors, and enhance accessibility to intelligent security technology while promoting privacy-conscious, consent-based deployment and human oversight.
