Flood Guard is an intelligent alarm system designed to detect rising water levels and provide early warnings of potential flooding. The system uses a water-level sensor to monitor the level of water continuously. When the water reaches a predetermined level, the system activates an alarm to alert people of possible flooding. This early warning allows residents to take precautionary measures, protect their belongings, and move to safer locations when necessary. Flood Guard is a simple, practical, and cost-effective innovation that can help improve flood awareness and community safety. It supports Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities and 13: Climate Action by promoting disaster preparedness and reducing the risks associated with flooding.
