Students on campus often struggle to access cafeteria food because of limited time, busy schedules, and the distance to food stalls. Existing food delivery services do not fully meet the needs of campus communities. This study presents Send2U, a mobile application that connects students who want to order food with fellow students who collect and deliver the orders within campus.
The application allows users to browse food stalls, view menus, place orders, select payment methods, and track delivery progress. It links requesters, student helpers, and food vendors through one coordinated system that also records transactions and manages delivery fees. The competition prototype supports cash-on-delivery and simulated online payments.
Send2U includes real-time order updates, delivery tracking, vendor order management, and transaction records to improve coordination and transparency. Its student-based delivery model lets students earn delivery fees while helping others access campus food more easily. However, its actual effectiveness and user satisfaction still require further testing and evaluation. Send2U offers a new approach to campus food delivery by combining student collaboration with digital order management, with the potential to improve convenience and support student earning opportunities.
