Sleep quality is essential for maintaining both physical and mental health. However, many students, particularly those living in fully residential schools, experience poor sleep quality due to academic stress and irregular daily routines. This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of the Myora Alarm Clock, an aromatic alarm clock, in improving sleep quality and promoting easier awakening among fully residential students.A total of 10 participants who reported difficulty waking up were recruited for this study. Each participant followed their normal sleep schedule for six consecutive days. During the first three days, they used a conventional alarm clock, while during the following three days, they used the Myora Alarm Clock. Sleep quality was assessed using the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) before and after the intervention. The findings indicated that participants who used the Myora Alarm Clock showed improved sleep quality and reported waking up more easily and feeling more alert compared to when they used a conventional alarm clock. These results suggest that the Myora Alarm Clock may serve as an effective natural solution for enhancing sleep quality and facilitating a more refreshing wake-up experience. However, due to the small sample size and short intervention period, further studies involving larger samples and longer observation periods are recommended to validate these findings.
