MATHPEDIA is an innovative virtual learning hub developed using the FrameVR.io platform to transform the teaching and learning of Mathematics for Form 1 to Form 3 students. The project was designed to address challenges related to limited access to centralized learning resources, low student engagement, and the need for more interactive and flexible learning approaches in the digital era. By leveraging metaverse technology, MATHPEDIA provides an immersive, student-centred learning environment that can be accessed anytime and anywhere through computers, mobile devices, or virtual reality (VR) headsets. The platform consists of five main learning spaces: (1) an introductory zone featuring team information and Form 1–Form 3 Mathematics topics, (2) a self-directed and collaborative learning space that encourages discussion and knowledge sharing, (3) a digital repository of notes and learning materials, (4) a multimedia zone containing learning videos and Mathematics curriculum documents (DSKP), and (5) an interactive assessment area featuring educational games, quizzes, and challenge-based activities. These integrated spaces create a comprehensive ecosystem that supports personalized learning, collaborative engagement, and continuous knowledge reinforcement. MATHPEDIA aligns with the aspirations of 21st-century education by promoting critical thinking, creativity, communication, and collaboration while enhancing digital literacy skills. Through its interactive and immersive features, the platform increases students’ motivation, participation, and conceptual understanding of Mathematics. Ultimately, MATHPEDIA serves as a sustainable digital innovation that enriches learning experiences, supports curriculum implementation, and contributes to the development of future-ready learners in the era of Education 5.0 and digital transformation.
