The Automated Garbage Collector is an innovative robot designed to help collect rubbish and keep our environment clean. It is made using LEGO components and a micro:bit. The robot is programmed using AiCode with Python block coding. It uses DC motors to move its four wheels and a servo motor with gears to control its robotic arm for collecting rubbish. An infrared sensor helps detect rubbish, while a speaker produces sounds when rubbish or obstacles are detected. The robot also has a light to help it work in dark places and a screen to display project information. Its specially designed wheels help it move across different types of ground. In the future, I hope to upgrade the robot so that it can automatically separate different types of rubbish and put them into the correct bins. Through this invention, I hope to help keep our environment clean and encourage people to use technology to solve environmental problems.
