Auradrop is an innovative, interactive digital application designed to help young children recognise, express and manage their emotions in a fun, simple and engaging way. This innovation addresses the challenges faced by young learners who struggle to communicate their feelings, as well as the difficulties teachers face in understanding pupils' emotional needs in the classroom. The main objective of Auradrop is to promote emotional awareness, self-expression and positive mental well-being among primary school pupils. The application features a child-friendly interface with colourful emotion icons that allow pupils to identify and vote for their current feelings, such as happiness, sadness, anger, fear and excitement. Once all pupils have submitted their responses, the application automatically identifies the most commonly selected emotion and suggests a suitable activity to support their emotional well-being.Suggested activities may include breathing exercises, simple games, positive affirmations, movement activities and creative tasks. These activities encourage pupils to develop emotional regulation, empathy, self-awareness and positive social interactions. Its simple design is particularly suitable for Year 1 pupils and supports teachers in creating a caring, emotionally responsive classroom environment. This innovation aligns with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 3: Good Health and Well-being and SDG 4: Quality Education by promoting emotional wellness and inclusive learning environments. In conclusion, Auradrop demonstrates how digital innovation can empower young children to express their emotions, understand their feelings and practise healthy emotional responses, contributing to a happier and more supportive learning environment.
