    BioSpectra Intelligent Pack is an innovative smart packaging solution made from natural materials, combining Centella asiatica (gotu kola) extract and purple cabbage extract as a natural indicator of food freshness. This project aims to develop eco-friendly packaging that provides visual indications of changes in food freshness through colour changes. The packaging film is produced using film-forming ingredients and evaluated for its physical properties and biodegradability. This innovation has the potential to help consumers monitor changes in food freshness more easily while encouraging a reduction in conventional plastic packaging. BioSpectra supports the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production, contributing towards a more sustainable future.
