Wealthy Humpty is an innovated plant pot made of eggshells. Eggs are most commonly consumed foods in our daily life; rich in protein and provide many health benefits but eggshells are often discarded as waste and thrown into the trash. However, they are not entirely useless, as they can be reused or recycled in various beneficial ways. we developed a biodegradable pot as a sustainable solution. Malaysia generates approximately 39,000 to 40,000 tonnes of solid waste per day. Over 80% of waste ending up in landfills, many are expected to reach capacity by 2050. Trash like plastics creates long-lasting pollution. It takes hundreds of years to decompose, meaning that nearly every piece ever produced still exists somewhere on Earth. This accumulation leads to serious and persistent environmental problems. Glass and ceramic pots can be dangerous for children. If they break, the sharp pieces can cause injuries. Our main objective to introduce biodegradable pot that helps people stay connected with nature. This pot suitable for indoor and outdoor. It’s an innovative, eco-friendly solution that is new to the market. Our Contribution to Sustainable Development Goals are SDG 11 Sustainable Cities and Communities, Wealthy Humpty helps cities rapidly expand their green public space without generating massive piles of plastic nursery waste. SDG 12 Responsible Consumption and Production, emphasizes doing more with less by minimizing waste and making efficient use of resources. This goal highlights the importance of reduction, recycling, and the valorisation of materials such as eggshells. By transforming eggshell waste into products like Wealthy Humpty, landfill waste can be reduced while creating useful, eco-friendly alternatives and SDG 13 Climate Action bio-degradable materials decompose naturally through micro-organisms, which reduce the need of burning trash and prevent toxic carbon dioxide from polluting the atmosphere.

Wealthy Humpty made of egg shell powder, agar-agar powder, coconut oil, cocopeat and lemongrass essential oil. Double boil agar-agar powder, coconut oil and lemongrass essential oil. Add eggshell powder and cocopeat mix well till it become a thick paste. Transfer into a mould; dry it completely.
