READSTEP is an interactive digital reading innovation designed to support Year 4 and Year 5 remedial pupils at Pre-A1 and Low-A1 English proficiency levels. It provides structured, scaffolded learning in letter recognition, sight words, vocabulary, word formation and simple sentences. Key features include audio support, interactive reading activities, guided assistance, immediate feedback, progress tracking and completion certificates. Its key novelty is differentiated content and support, enabling Pre-A1 pupils to receive greater guidance while Low-A1 pupils develop reading independence.
