Lingua Express-It! WriteCraft: A Scaffolded Digital Process-Writing Toolkit for Vocational Students

English writing challenges vocational students in developing ideas, selecting vocabulary and constructing sentences. Limited scaffolding may weaken engagement. This innovation aims to enhance cognitive, behavioural and emotional engagement through WriteCraft, developed using ADDIE and guided by TPACK. A classroom pilot involving 20 students used writing tasks, observation, questionnaires and teacher feedback. Engagement means were 4.36/5 (cognitive), 4.24/5 (behavioural) and 4.27/5 (emotional); usability scored 81.11/100 from 18 valid responses. WriteCraft provides an adaptable, low-cost, Google Apps Script-supported approach to meaningful vocational English writing.
