ABSTRACT: SMART PLANT BUDDY

Smart Plant Buddy is an innovative plant-care system designed to help people maintain healthy plants while saving water. It uses a soil moisture sensor to detect the moisture level in the soil and provides a simple light indicator to remind users when their plants need water.

The system uses a red light to indicate that the soil is dry and watering is needed, while a green light indicates that the soil has sufficient moisture. This simple and user-friendly design helps users avoid overwatering and underwatering their plants.

Smart Plant Buddy is suitable for gardens, flower beds, potted plants, shrubs, and landscape areas. It aims to reduce water wastage, save time, and encourage responsible plant care. The device is designed to be affordable, easy to use, and suitable for homes, schools, and public landscapes.

In conclusion, Smart Plant Buddy combines simple sensor technology with environmental awareness to support healthier plants and greener surroundings. It promotes sustainable water use and demonstrates how STEM innovation can contribute to a more environmentally friendly future.
