TR197: Design And Development Of An IoT-Based Smart Exercise Chair For Rehabilitation

AHMAD AZHAR BIN NORHALIM TVETMARA Ledang

This project focuses on the development of a smart exercise chair designed to assist users in performing lower limb and back exercises. The system utilizes actuators to generate controlled and repetitive movements for both the lower limb and back sections. The lower limb mechanism is designed to support leg exercise, while the back mechanism provides controlled movement for back exercise. A monitoring software is integrated into the system to display and record exercise-related information such as exercise duration, movement status, and session progress. The monitoring system allows users or caregivers to observe the exercise process and track the user's performance. The proposed system aims to provide a more convenient, controlled, and systematic approach to rehabilitation exercise.
